Using my shiny new laptop - yay! Not-so-yay is the fact that we had to pull a few hundred dollars from the saving-for-a-house account to buy said laptop, but oh well...it'll be replaced when we can. At least we didn't have to charge it?
Random ATC:
And an ATC made for a swap-bot public forums tag (one of her chosen themes was dessert, and cupcakes are fun!
On-the-go: Lots, as usual. Finishing up my five-themed ATCs for now. I have a whole whack of random ATCs, inchies and twinchies to tackle as well. Yayyyy crafting!
For the record - I'm totally not making a dent in my craft stuff. I'm trying! I really need to buy some more adhesives, though. I'll have to snag some this weekend. I'm totally out of glue tape, and I -need- that stuff! XD
My poor computer seems to be stuck on self-destruct mode. I have several photos that I need to upload, but I'm too paranoid to do anything with them right now! The external hard drive has been making really weird sounds, too...the manufacturer has shipped us a new power supply, as they claim that's probably what is causing it, but I have my doubts. Really, REALLY hope that at least one of the two holds out so I don't lose everything!
Something that's already on the computer and thus 'safe' to post about:
The starfish ATC I made for the first 'Under the Sea'-themed swap. I drew it, went over it with a sharpie and a black felt-tipped pen, and finally it was watercolor time. I think it's cute! :) (I hope my partner thinks so as well!)
I also finished the pastel inchies, pink inchies, butterfly inchies, spring inchies, and probably more. I'll refresh my memory once I'm able to upload those darned pictures!
Cross your fingers and hope that my computer holds out, please - I really don't feel like shelling out a few hundred bucks for a new one! D:
Every once in a while, I make something(s) and pack it up/send it out...and THEN realize that I never did take a photo of it. Oops!
Yeah, I did it again. 9 twinchies for another Paper Cutz swap. Oh well - I'll try not to do it again! (I know I will eventually, but at least I don't do it often?)
Anyway! Finished my four-themed ATCs two? days ago:
And I was in a random-creating mood last night, so I made these:
On the go: LOTS! Almost everything from the last post still needs to be finished. Also, I really need to attempt to tackle my craft supplies hoard - it's spilling over and taking over the table and my desk! (Ok, so it always has a partial claim on my desk, but it's getting out of control!)
Hubby has today and tomorrow off, so I'm going to attempt to use this time wisely. Lots of (spring?) cleaning, organizing, and of course, crafting! I'm going to try to use up as much of my existing supplies as possible without buying anything new. (Aside from adhesives, of course!)
Off to battle I go!
Got one more thing done tonight: Finished all three of my three-themed ATCs. Goooo watercolor rocket threes!
Goal for this weekend: Live through work. Finish that batch of ATCs I mentioned earlier. Tackle as many inchies and twinchies as humanly possible.
Hey look, a post!
I've been a busy bee, not that my blog shows much of anything this week. I have nine million ATCs on the go (ok, I'm exaggerating - roughly 20, I'm guessing) that should be finished sometime this weekend...I just have to whip out the sewing machine and do the finishing work. I'm finally starting to make more use of my constantly-growing used postage stamp hoard, yay! I use the small ones often on inchies, and have used some on twinchies, but now I'm using the bigger guys on will-be-partially-machine-sewn ATCs - fun!
I apparently failed to upload the (crappy) photo I took of the three ATCs I made for Electra for our private swap, so here we go:
And of course, the last bunch is the K through O ATC group that I finally finished. Cross-stitch is driving me nuts, but I'm happy with the finished product! O ATC was something new for me - hand-drawing. I don't think I've EVER done a hand-drawn ATC! I just hope that my partner likes them, as I put a TON of time and love into them! I think I'm especially fond of L - cuuuute!

Next up/on-the-go: Finishing that big batch of ATCs. (One will go out for a WTA, one will go towards a recycled item ATC swap since it definitely qualifies, and one will go towards the next QTA swap!) 12 pastel inchies. 5? random twinchies. Three 3-themed ATCs. Three 4-themed ATCs. Finishing my set of six spring-themed inchies. Finishing the last couple sets of alpha inchies. 12 pink inchies. More random twinchies. And a whole whack of random inchies! Whew.
