Stuff, stuff, stuff~!

Lots of stuff! One day, I'll replace my poor camera...one day. This whole month has been one massive series of expenses after another, and it's only going to get worse - I still have Christmas shopping to do!

On-the-go: Two dozen Christmas-themed inchies. Need to finish my color series ATCs - they're all pieced, but I have to do the stitching and adhere them to backings. Finish the stitching on a bunch of twinchies. Finish a couple more ATCs for my brothers - will be matted and framed as part of their Christmas gifts. :)

Rainbow inchies.

I really had fun making these! I gave myself a mini-challenge of trying to use up as many random bits-and-bobs from my stash as possible, and I think I managed fairly well! As much as I love sender's choice-type inchie swaps, it's nice to have a specific 'theme' to follow. :) Very glad Elin is hosting these swaps!

A much-belated massive photo dump.

So yeah, the camera has just about crapped out entirely. :( I've been taking photos, but it's nearly impossible to upload them. Hubby finally uploaded the whole shebang for me last night, but it actually made his computer blue-screen...that's always a good sign, right? So needless to say, we need to invest in a new one. Unfortunately, this is a bad time of year for us (and many people, I'd imagine), so it's gonna have to wait. Until then, I'll be posting images very sporadically, and probably in huge clusters like this. Sorry! D:

Oh, the random...

This is a sign that I really, REALLY need to consider investing in a new camera. As always, I'm continually crafting SOMETHING, but getting the pictures onto my computer is hell...so I delay, delay delay. Then I'll have a day like today, where I add a ton of photos at once and forget which specific swaps things were for. Oops.

Anyway, the stuff!

Kawaii ATCs (two separate swaps):

Sender's choice inchies:

Skull-themed ATC (forum tag):

Sender's choice ATCs:

Random ATCs (towards group members' wishlists):

Halloween ATCs:

And finally, some of those Christmas ornaments I've been rambling about for a while:

I actually made a few sets of those ornaments, but only bothered to photograph one - I just might list them on Etsy. :D

I have lots of random stuff on the go - more (different) Christmas ornaments, a few scarves, doll bracelets to list on Etsy, even MORE fabric yo-yos. Need to work on a new set of alphabet inchies too - someone started another swap series, so I -had- to join, naturally. (I had fun with the last set, so I couldn't NOT join!)

Postage stamp ATCs, Halloween inchies, random random.

I've been even worse than normal with uploading photos & updating my blog...didn't think that was possible! On top of my usual issues in getting my photos from the camera to the laptop, my rechargeable batteries decided they didn't want to hold a charge anymore, so I wasn't even able to take photos for a couple of days. Unfortunately for me, this meant I was unable to take pictures of a couple of sender's choice-type swaps before I sent them out...oh well. :( They're finally replaced, so I was able to upload some today - yay!

Without further rambling, here we go:

Postage stamp ATCs (swap required one, but I sent two):

Kawaii ATC:

Halloween inchies (half for a swap that's already sent, other half is coming up after today):

Inchie a Name swap (plus a tagalong pumpkin):

I had fun with the name inchies! They took a surprisingly long time to make, as I colored each one individually (already had the squares punched out) in colors listed on my partner's profile. I hope that she likes them! :)

I always have a lot of random crafty stuff on the go, but I don't think I have anything specific going right now. I've been making a lot of tiny fabric yoyos (I have SO MUCH fabric to use!) and working on finishing up some plastic canvas Christmas ornaments...if I get brave, I may list them in my Etsy shop.

I've been feeling rather horrible lately...my thought is celiac disease. I actually cut out gluten entirely as of a few days ago and was feeling a little better - may be coincidental, but who knows. After reading up on testing, it looks like I need to keep eating gluten-containing foods for a definitive diagnosis, blah. I feel like I'm poisoning myself by eating my former whole grain-rich diet. I see my doctor on Sept. 7th, so at least there's that.

Speaking of September...where the heck did the summer go? My 'big' kid (who will be five in October already, yeesh) will be going back to school on the 7th as well, and she'll be going full-time this year. I feel old. :P

And even more.

Lots more stuff...yay?

Anything inchies:

Kaia's awesome ATCs (for a private swap):

6 kawaii inchies:

Sender's choice ATCs:

Skull ATCs:

Time ATC:

I've been making lots of random ATCs and inchies and whatnot lately, but probably won't bother posting a photo until they're going to something specific. Oh, and I finished a set of three kawaii twinchies for a swap, but didn't get a photo yet. ;) I'm still attempting to use up random bits from my stash, and it's slowwww going - there's a LOT of random stuff kicking around! I just got a bunch more used postage stamps to add to my already-growing hoard too...ATCs, maybe? I have a TON built up, but the supply is slowwwwly going down. (I just finished sending off all of the postage stamp ATCs I made in May, haha...now I have a ton from June!) Also, I have six ATCs and nine million twinchies waiting to be stitched, just need to whip out the sewing machine!

Yet again...

Me, being terrible with uploading photos? No way! I really need to replace that camera, but I'm being cheap. :P Why is it that when the kids need/want something, I don't think about dropping money on it - I just do it...but when it's for ME, I just can't? The joys of parenthood.

Sender's choice twinchies:

WTA ATC:

Car ATCs:

Sender's choice ATC:

Sender's choice skinny #3 (August):

True Blood set (for no real reason - I made them randomly):

Recycled backgrounds inchies:

I actually recycle random paper bits for inchies alllll the time, so this swap was right up my alley! (Okay, okay, most inchie swaps are right up my alley, hah!) I punch blanks from used notecards, envelopes, notepapers, etc - waste not, want not! (Plus a lot of it is really cute!)

Debating attempting to swap my True Blood set. I love me some True Blood, but I've never once kept an ATC I made. I'd be happy to trade 'em for other True Blood ATCs, but I've no idea if I'd be able to find someone willing to swap that many! Pam's quote is from one of the books, and made me laugh out loud when I read it...so I had to use it. (This is the first time I've ever used a cuss word on anything and it feels a bit weird, but that quote was too hilariously awesome not to use.)

On-the-go/next up: 2 skull-themed ATCs. (I actually have six on the go, but need two for a swap.) Attempting to use up a TON of random crafty bits I've had kicking around for a while - I've made a ton of inchies over the last few days, have several ATCs on the go, etc. And finally, I need to attempt embossing for the first time. I have the basics now (including a heat tool!) but I think I'm sort of scared. :P
